## Examined pair

Case A used a valid registry statement backed by a currently standing issuer. Case B preserved the same current, signed, attributable and internally valid registry record, but independent issuer-standing evidence showed the issuer was no longer governing. The Pack returned `UNRESOLVED_AUTHORITY_STANDING` rather than inheriting authority from the still-valid record.

> Given independently supplied issuer-standing evidence, the examined Specialty Pack distinguished registry-content validity from the current standing of the authority empowering that registry statement, and refused to treat the still-valid statement as governing after issuer standing ended.
